Hive Health AI Tournament Rules & Terms

All trademarks belong to their respective owners.

1. Tournament Overview

The Hive Health AI Tournament is a 12-week team-based competition designed to encourage healthy habits, accountability, teamwork, and long-term wellbeing.

Participants earn HiveCoins by completing activities and challenges within the Hive Health AI app.

Teams compete against one another throughout the tournament, with prizes awarded based on final rankings and random prize draws.

Participation in the tournament constitutes acceptance of these rules.

2. Tournament Duration

The tournament lasts twelve (12) consecutive weeks.

Tournament start and end dates will be communicated within the Hive Health AI app.

Hive Health AI reserves the right to amend tournament dates where necessary.

3. Eligibility

To participate, users must:

  • Have a valid Hive Health AI account.
  • Be at least eighteen (18) years old, or have parental/legal guardian consent where permitted by law.
  • Comply with all tournament rules.
  • Reside in a jurisdiction where participation is permitted by law.

The tournament is void where prohibited by law.

Hive Health AI reserves the right to restrict participation in specific countries, territories, or jurisdictions.

4. Team Formation

4.1 Team Size

Teams must consist of a minimum of three (3) members and a maximum of ten (10) members.

4.2 Team Names

Each team must select a unique team name.

4.3 Team Membership

Participants may only belong to one team at any given time unless otherwise approved by Hive Health AI.

5. Earning HiveCoins

5.1 Individual Activities

Participants earn HiveCoins by completing eligible activities within the app.

Examples include:

  • Daily check-ins
  • Workouts
  • Meal logging
  • Water tracking
  • Body scans
  • Educational activities
  • Wellness tasks
  • Other activities introduced during the tournament

5.2 Team Missions

Additional HiveCoins may be awarded through team-based missions and challenges.

5.3 HiveCoin Values

HiveCoin values may vary depending on activity type, effort required, and tournament objectives.

Hive Health AI reserves the right to adjust HiveCoin values throughout the tournament.

6. Leaderboard

6.1 Rankings

Team rankings are determined by the total number of HiveCoins earned.

6.2 Updates

Leaderboards update automatically throughout the tournament.

6.3 Final Results

Final standings will be determined at the official end of the tournament.

All leaderboard decisions made by Hive Health AI are final.

7. Grand Prize

7.1 Winning Team

At the conclusion of the tournament, the highest-ranked eligible team will have the opportunity to share a total prize pool valued at up to $10,000 USD.

7.2 Prize Pool

The prize pool may consist of:

  • Cash
  • Gift cards
  • Technology products
  • Services
  • Other rewards selected by Hive Health AI

7.3 Distribution

Prize distribution among winning team members will be determined by Hive Health AI and may be shared equally among eligible participants unless otherwise specified.

7.4 Eligibility

Only participants who remain in good standing throughout the tournament will be eligible to receive prizes.

8. Random Technology Prize Draws

8.1 Additional Rewards

To reward participation and engagement, Hive Health AI may award additional technology prizes during or at the conclusion of the tournament.

8.2 Prize Quantity

Up to twenty (20) eligible participants may be randomly selected to receive technology prizes.

8.3 Example Prizes

Examples may include:

  • Apple iPhone
  • PlayStation 5 Pro
  • Apple Watch
  • AirPods
  • iPad
  • Other technology products selected by Hive Health AI

Prize models, colours, specifications, availability, and exact prize quantities may vary.

8.4 Eligibility

To be eligible for prize draws, participants must:

  • Be registered in the tournament.
  • Maintain an active Hive Health AI account.
  • Comply with all tournament rules.
  • Not be disqualified.

8.5 Winner Selection

Prize draw winners will be selected at random from eligible participants.

Hive Health AI's decision regarding winner selection is final.

8.6 No Purchase Necessary

No purchase is necessary to participate in the tournament or to be eligible for prize draws where prohibited by law.

9. Fair Play & Cheating

9.1 Fair Competition

All participants must compete honestly and fairly.

9.2 Prohibited Conduct

Cheating includes, but is not limited to:

  • Falsifying task completion
  • Creating fake activity
  • Manipulating app functionality
  • Using multiple accounts
  • Submitting fraudulent information
  • Attempting to gain an unfair advantage
  • Assisting another participant in cheating

9.3 Investigation

Hive Health AI reserves the right to investigate suspicious activity.

9.4 Additional Verification

Hive Health AI may request additional evidence, information, or verification where unusual behaviour or potential cheating is detected.

9.5 Penalties

Hive Health AI may:

  • Remove HiveCoins
  • Remove completed tasks
  • Adjust rankings
  • Disqualify individuals
  • Disqualify teams
  • Remove prize eligibility

All decisions made by Hive Health AI are final.

10. Winner Verification

Before any prize is awarded, Hive Health AI may require winners to:

  • Verify their identity
  • Verify tournament eligibility
  • Confirm delivery details
  • Provide reasonable information necessary to administer prizes

Failure to complete verification within the requested timeframe may result in forfeiture of the prize and selection of an alternative winner.

11. Winner Confirmation & Feedback

Winners may be invited to:

  • Confirm receipt of their prize
  • Provide feedback regarding their experience
  • Share a photograph of their prize
  • Share their tournament experience

Winners may also be invited to leave an honest review on:

  • Apple App Store
  • Google Play Store

Providing a review is entirely voluntary and will not affect prize eligibility or fulfilment.

12. Winner Announcements & Publicity

By accepting a prize, winners agree that Hive Health AI may publicly announce their win unless prohibited by applicable law.

This may include:

  • First name
  • Team name
  • City, state, or country
  • Prize won
  • Testimonials voluntarily provided
  • Photographs voluntarily provided

Hive Health AI will never publish personal contact information without consent.

13. Prize Substitution

Hive Health AI reserves the right to substitute any advertised prize with an alternative prize of equal or greater value if required.

14. Delivery & Availability

Hive Health AI is not responsible for:

  • Shipping delays
  • Customs delays
  • Import duties
  • Lost shipments outside its reasonable control
  • Delivery restrictions in specific countries

Prize delivery times may vary.

15. Taxes & Responsibilities

Winners are solely responsible for any taxes, duties, fees, or obligations associated with receiving prizes under applicable laws.

16. Conduct & Sportsmanship

Participants must:

  • Treat others respectfully
  • Refrain from harassment, abuse, or discrimination
  • Follow community standards
  • Promote fair competition

Hive Health AI reserves the right to remove participants who violate these standards.

17. Rule Changes

Hive Health AI reserves the right to modify, update, suspend, or cancel tournament rules, tournament mechanics, rewards, or prize structures where necessary.

Significant changes will be communicated through the app where reasonably possible.

18. Limitation of Liability

Participation is voluntary.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Hive Health AI shall not be responsible for:

  • Technical failures
  • Connectivity issues
  • Device incompatibilities
  • Lost data
  • Delayed submissions
  • Service interruptions
  • Errors outside its reasonable control

19. Acceptance of Rules

By participating in the tournament, participants acknowledge that they have read, understood, and agreed to these rules.

All decisions made by Hive Health AI regarding tournament administration, eligibility, rankings, prizes, and enforcement of these rules shall be final.
